Each 4 or 6 piston double pincers are machined with CNC precision from aerospace aluminum alloy blocks. To reduce the tolerances to a minimum, the pistons are machined by a special low alloy aluminum alloy and have a hard anodised finish that gives them the same hardness of cemented steel, ensuring maximum wear resistance. For effective performance, the pliers have separate brake pads for each piston. In this way, braking is improved with respect to the pliers with double pads or with pliers with a diameter difference. There is also a special benefit in wet conditions because the first set of pads wipes the water out of the disk while the next 2 or 4 pads are still "biting". This removes the clutch slip effect on the disk by preventing sudden and sudden braking when it returns dry. They are truly progressive grippers with a direct and sensitive relationship between the amount of pressure on the lever and the amount of braking power. These pliers provide excellent braking power and are available for almost all models. The front clamps are mounted directly on the fork liners, the rear clutches are sold in sets including the mounting brackets. Each kit includes shims to correctly position the pliers with respect to the disks and the entire mounting bolts. The front and rear sets are available in 4 and 6 version pistons with polished or black anodized finish. All Harrison Billet clamps are TÜV approved.
